On the morning of December 4, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat held a national conference to study and disseminate the Resolution of the 8th Conference of the 13th Central Party Executive Committee.
The conference was organized in both direct and online formats, connecting the central bridge at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House, Hanoi city to more than 16,200 bridge points of Central and local departments, ministries, branches, unions, and units nationwide with more than 1.4 million cadres and party members (CBĐV) participating.
Attending and directing the conference at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House on the morning of December 4 were Politburo members: President Vo Van Thuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai. Also attending the conference were Politburo members, Secretariat members, members of the 13th Party Central Committee, key officials of Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in the entire political system from the central to local levels.
Attending the conference at the bridge point of the Central Cultural House of Ha Nam province were comrades: Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Xuan Loc, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades: Tran Ho, Le Van Tan, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrades members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, former members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee; heads and deputy heads of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations of the province, committees of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, comrades members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and nearly 400 Party members of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee. The conference was connected to more than 200 points of district, city, town party committees, and party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee with nearly 42,000 civil servants and officials attending.
On the morning of December 4, delegates attending the conference listened to Comrade Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member and President, deliver a speech on the topic "Continuing to promote the tradition of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy". Next, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister directly delivered the topic "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies to meet the requirements of national construction and defense in the new period". Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh focused on introducing, analyzing and emphasizing a number of contents: Fundamental elements of social policies; General assessment of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW dated June 1, 2012; The necessity of issuing a resolution on innovation and improvement of the quality of social policies; Main contents and outstanding new points of Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023.
In the afternoon conference program, delegates will hear: Comrade Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense present the topic "Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation"; Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department present the topic "Continuing to build a contingent of intellectuals to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period" and provide guidance on the implementation of the Resolutions of the 8th Central Conference, 13th tenure.
