Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW of the Politburo

BTO-On the morning of May 10, the Central Propaganda Department chaired and coordinated with the Central Economic Committee and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize a conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW, dated October 10, 2023 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new period.

Attending the conference at the Hanoi bridge were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai; Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee Nguyen Duc Hien, Chairman of VCCI Pham Tan Cong... The conference was deployed online nationwide. At the Binh Thuan bridge, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Vo Thanh Binh chaired the conference.

In addition, there were also representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, provincial business associations, young entrepreneurs' associations, provincial women entrepreneurs' clubs and online connections to districts, towns and city party committees.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Duc Hien presented a report on the main contents of Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW. Regarding the contents of the tasks and solutions, the Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission informed that, in addition to inheriting the tasks and solutions that still retain their value in Resolution 09-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW has arranged and supplemented a number of new tasks and solutions; many contents in the tasks and solutions have been innovated and improved to meet the viewpoints, goals and suit the new context.

Resolution 41 has identified the group of entrepreneurs as having an important position and role, as one of the core forces contributing to promoting the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration; building and developing an independent, self-reliant economy, ensuring national defense and security. Strengthening the connection and cooperation among the group of entrepreneurs, between entrepreneurs and workers, farmers, and intellectuals to jointly realize the goal of national development. The Resolution also clearly identifies the important requirement of strengthening the leadership role of the Party, promoting the strength of the group of Vietnamese entrepreneurs, creating a favorable, safe, and equal investment and business environment for enterprises to develop.

It is known that the Government has just issued Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP, the Government's action program to implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW. Accordingly, the goal from now to 2030 is to have at least 2 million enterprises, of which many entrepreneurs will be formed and developed to lead strong economic groups with potential and competitiveness in the domestic and international markets, promoting the role of leading important sectors and fields of the economy. By 2030, at least 10 Vietnamese entrepreneurs will be on the list of world USD billionaires, 5 most powerful entrepreneurs in Asia voted by prestigious international organizations...

Through the conference, the aim is to help the business community grasp the Party's viewpoints and policies, the State's policies and laws, strive to develop a large and strong business community in terms of quantity and quality, with vision, intelligence, ethics, entrepreneurial spirit, legitimate enrichment, dynamism, creativity, advanced management capacity, and national identity. Socially responsible, aware of environmental protection, and worthy contributions to the country's development goals...
