Having deeply absorbed Uncle Ho's teachings since his days at the Military Technical Academy, up to now, Major Nguyen The Duy, Technical Assistant, Information Frequency Band Technical Department, Center 80, Electronic Warfare Department has always tried his best in every task, especially in scientific research.

The project “Research, design, and manufacture of receivers and excitation sets to replace AJAS-20C equipment” led by Major Nguyen The Duy won the third prize of the 23rd Army Youth Creative Award. Talking about the project, Major Nguyen The Duy said: “AJAS-20C equipment is a new and modern type of equipment. However, after a period of use, some equipment is damaged, and importing replacements from the manufacturer is very costly. Therefore, the research team proposed to the leaders at all levels to research and manufacture receivers and excitation sets to replace the above equipment.”

It is easy to say, but during the implementation process, the research team encountered many difficulties due to the lack of specialized documents; components were difficult to find and algorithms that created equivalent functions were not transferred from the partner. To solve the above problem, promoting the spirit of initiative, creativity, daring to think, daring to do of the youth, Major Nguyen The Duy and his teammates searched, researched, read, and translated foreign documents, sought support and advice from senior staff, then researched, tested, and assembled...

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Hanh, Head of the Information Frequency Band Engineering Department, shared: “There are many late nights but the lights of the unit's workshop are still on. There, comrade Duy and Major Trinh Xuan Minh, the department's Technical Assistant, are still working hard, finding solutions to exchange data between computer software and hardware equipment. Comrade Duy's utmost efforts are a shining example for his teammates to follow. From there, the device was successfully researched and manufactured, contributing to meeting the practical needs for timely maintenance and replacement during the training and combat readiness of electronic warfare units equipped with AJAS-20C equipment."

Coming to Brigade 144, Major Nguyen Van Chuan, Political Commissar of Battalion 1, shared with us about the unit's officers who are always exemplary in carrying out their tasks, saying what they do, becoming shining examples for the unit's officers and soldiers to follow.

That is Lieutenant Nguyen Khac Thanh, Platoon Leader of Platoon 17, Company 4, Battalion 1 - the officer directly commanding the honor guard force responsible for serving the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense to welcome visiting and working delegations. In each mission, Lieutenant Nguyen Khac Thanh is always close to the soldiers, meticulously correcting each movement; at the same time, he knows how to arouse the spirit of self-awareness and striving of each person.

There are many examples in agencies and units under the Party Committee of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with implementing Resolution 847 of the Central Military Commission. It can be affirmed that in recent times, the Party Committee of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense has always focused on leading, directing, and promoting the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, especially the heads and chairmen of units in the spirit of "the superiors set exemplary examples, the subordinates actively follow", linking the building of cadres and party members with the 5 standards of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period; at the same time, actively and persistently fighting and preventing individualism in each agency, unit and field of work.

“The results clearly demonstrate that over the past 3 years, the agencies and units under the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense have made remarkable progress in their awareness and sense of responsibility in cultivating, training, implementing and completing assigned tasks and responsibilities,” Major General Chu Van Doan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense, and Political Commissar of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, affirmed.

Efficiency from models

In order to promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 847 of the Central Military Commission, the Party Committees of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense have built and deployed many practical and effective models.

At the Party Committee of the Department of Planning and Investment, the political agency has advised and proposed to the Standing Committee of the Department's Party Committee to implement the model of "Party member handbook". The compact "Party member handbook" (size 10x14.5cm) distributed by the Party Committee of the Department of Planning and Investment to each cadre and party member in the entire Party Committee contains many useful and practical contents, namely: Tasks and powers of party members; things party members are not allowed to do; main tasks and solutions to promote the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; basic characteristics of the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers; manifestations of individualism; identification of signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party...

At the College of Cryptography Technology, the School Women's Union effectively organized the model "Saving according to Uncle Ho's teachings, helping each other develop family economy". Implementing the model, cadres and members of the School Women's Union voluntarily save 50,000 VND each month to create a fund to support members in difficulty; collect old papers and newspapers from the unit to sell to raise funds.

"Little by little, big by little", up to now, the School's Women's Union has created a fund of more than 50 million VND, supporting two members to borrow 20 million VND/person to solve difficulties in life, creating capital to develop the family economy. Lieutenant Colonel Bui Thi Ngoc Ha, President of the Women's Union of the College of Cryptography Technology, said: "Although these actions are small, they have great significance".

Based on the achieved results, at the conference to review 3 years of implementing Conclusion 01 and 2 years of implementing Resolution 847 of the Party Committee of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense requested: Party committees and commanders at all levels must closely follow the instructions, guidance, and plans of superiors, the practical situation of agencies and units to develop annual plans to implement Conclusion 01, Resolution 847 in line with the functions, tasks of the unit and the responsibilities of each individual; incorporate the implementation of Conclusion 01, Resolution 847 into regular activities, as a basis for emulation and reward evaluation; classify the quality of party organizations and party members; classify cadres, employees and mass organizations.

Focus on replicating good models, effective and practical methods; building typical and advanced collectives and individuals, from there replicating to have many good collectives and individuals contributing to building a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" agency and unit.
