Last week, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang inspected the implementation of tasks at the beginning of the year at a number of units and projects; Chaired the second meeting of the City Party Committee's Steering Committee on the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; Chaired the meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025; Attended the tree planting launching ceremony of At Ty Spring 2025.

- Visiting the City's Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC) on February 5, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang acknowledged the results that DSAC has achieved after 1 year of establishment and listened to the sharing and suggestions of the staff and employees working at DSAC.

On the same day, visiting the new headquarters of the City Center for Startup and Innovation Support (Department of Science and Technology) at 58 Nguyen Chi Thanh (Hai Chau District), Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang proposed to increase the application of science and technology and support for startup and innovation projects; increase innovation connection activities, propaganda to raise awareness, determination, and develop science, technology and innovation.

Inspecting the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Construction Project of the North - South Expressway in the East of Da Nang City, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated Hoa Vang District for focusing on ensuring the progress of site clearance. At the same time, he requested the district to promptly organize site clearance for the remaining locations to hand over the site to the construction unit; ensure the regimes and policies for the people and ensure the provisions of the law.

- Speaking at the second meeting of the City Party Committee's Steering Committee on the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses on the afternoon of February 5, City Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang requested that localities urgently complete the review, list, and classification of subjects, clearly stating difficulties and problems regarding land law, to be completed before February 15.

- Speaking at the meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025 on the morning of February 3, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang emphasized that this is an opportunity for the city's cadres and party members to review the proud 95-year journey of the Communist Party of Vietnam, deeply grateful for the great contributions of generations of compatriots and soldiers; thereby seeing the responsibility of each party member towards the city's Party Committee and people.

Last week, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh visited and inspected the implementation of tasks at the beginning of the year at a number of units and projects; attended the launching ceremony of the Spring Tree Planting Ceremony of At Ty Year 2025.

- Inspecting the Quang Da bridge project and the bridge approach road on the afternoon of February 7, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh acknowledged and commended Hoa Vang district, the investor and contractor for being proactive in site clearance, basically meeting the construction progress requirements.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh emphasized that this is an important project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City as well as to connect the two localities of Da Nang - Quang Nam. Therefore, the construction unit continues to focus on human and material resources to ensure the construction is on schedule, striving to conduct technical traffic opening by March 29, 2025.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh requested the People's Committee of Hoa Vang district to continue to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to focus on removing obstacles so that the site clearance can be carried out according to the set plan; ensuring other factors related to the project. At the same time, continue to propagate and mobilize people to hand over the site to avoid affecting the project's progress.

- Speaking at the meeting on the report on the operation of the Project Management Boards (PMUs) after the merger: Priority Infrastructure Investment PMU; PMU for Investment in Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works; PMU for Investment in Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works on the afternoon of February 7, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and proactive implementation of the tasks of the PMUs after the merger.

Emphasizing the role of the Project Management Boards, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh requested the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Project Management Boards to continue to promote their role in accelerating the implementation progress, ensuring quality and effective disbursement of capital sources, meeting the city's development goals in 2025.

- Speaking at the regular meeting of the City People's Council in February 2025 on the afternoon of February 7, Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang requested the City People's Committee to soon have a final plan on the number of contents to be submitted to the 22nd session of the City People's Council; at the same time, focus on directing departments and branches to urgently complete all documents for the Committees of the City People's Council to conduct examination according to regulations.

Last week, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh worked with departments, branches and sectors on implementing policies according to Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolutions No. 57/2024/NQ-HDND, 58/2024/NQ-HDND, 59/2024/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2024 of the City People's Council related to the development of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence in the city; Inspecting the implementation of tasks at the beginning of the year at a number of units and projects; Visiting and inspecting the implementation of tasks at the beginning of the year at a number of units and projects.

- At the working session with departments, branches and sectors on implementing policies according to Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolutions No. 57/2024/NQ-HDND, 58/2024/NQ-HDND, 59/2024/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2024 of the City People's Council related to the development of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence in the city on the afternoon of February 3, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh requested departments, branches and sectors to review and advise on supplementing specific policies in the field of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence that have not been stipulated in Resolution 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and 3 resolutions of the City People's Council detailing the National Assembly resolution; review support for premises for startup projects in Da Nang Software Park No. 2.

Last week, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong inspected the actual implementation of construction work at the beginning of the year for two projects in Lien Chieu district, including the Northwest Axis I Road and the Lien Chieu District Medical Center.

- At the inspection of the actual implementation of the construction of the Northwest Axis I Road at the beginning of the year on the morning of February 8, Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong assigned the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District to work with the City Police to unify the procedures for land and property recovery of the People's Armed Forces units according to regulations, in the spirit of creating conditions for the contractor to clear the site and start construction before February 15, 2025, in parallel with the process of completing the procedural documents to ensure project progress.

Regarding the Lien Chieu District Medical Center project, through checking the actual construction progress, Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong requested the contractor to increase machinery, equipment, workers and supply of materials to ensure construction progress, overcome delays, and strive to complete the project on the occasion of National Day, September 2, 2025.

Last week, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi inspected a number of works and projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025); Attended the second meeting of the City Party Committee's Steering Committee on the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; Attended the Spring Tree Planting Launch Ceremony of At Ty Year 2025.

- At the actual inspection of a number of works and projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), including: the project to renovate and repair the Da Nang City Martyrs' Cemetery and the project to renovate and repair Phuoc Ninh Cemetery (Hoa Vang district); the project to expand and upgrade the Hoa Hai Ward Martyrs' Cemetery (Ngu Hanh Son district) on the morning of February 5, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi requested that localities and related departments focus on urging and supervising the construction progress, ensuring that the works are completed before March 20, 2025, to inaugurate in time to celebrate the city's big holiday".
