COY18 is organized by YOUNGO - the official Children and Youth Constituent of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and hosted by the Arab Youth Center, American University of Sharjah and Green House - a student-led climate think tank at New York University in Abu Dhabi.
The Youth Climate Change Conference is part of COY18 and COP28, where youth representatives from over 100 countries are building and contributing ideas in the discussion on keeping global warming to 1.5 degrees and engaging in addressing climate change at local, sub-national, national and international levels.

Recognizing the importance of global climate change, young people have put forward ideas and solutions to change and protect the environment. The Vietnamese representative contributed to the joint statement of young people at COY18 on renewable energy.

The use of renewable energy represents an important step in Vietnam’s energy transition journey, aligning the country with its climate goals and paving the way for a sustainable and equitable energy future.

After the Conference in UAE, Bao Ngoc will continue to Egypt to accompany Miss Intercontinental 2023 and complete her term with many other community activities. December 15 will be the final walk of Miss Bao Ngoc as Miss Intercontinental 2022.

Previously, Miss Thuy Tien posted an invitation letter to the Korean Embassy and the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this special event - the 5th International Conference on Action for Women and Peace. This event aims to promote the close relationship between many countries, including Vietnam and Korea.
During the discussion session, Miss Thuy Tien participated as a speaker as a representative of the young generation of Vietnam. She and other representatives from other countries discussed: "The impact of online violence on women and peace".

Miss Grand International 2021 was also honored to take a photo with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Korea - Mr. Park Jin, who is a very influential person in Korea due to his outstanding diplomatic activities and promotion of tourism and culture.
In her discussion, Thuy Tien and representatives from other countries shared frankly about issues that are of concern to today's youth, such as how to optimize social networks to protect and develop themselves without letting negative information harass them.
