Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee has just issued a directive document on coordinating the organization of communication and propaganda activities to raise awareness of bomb and mine accident prevention in 2023.
In particular, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with the Vietnam National Mine Action Center (VNMAC) to carry out propaganda activities to raise awareness of bomb and mine accident prevention in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with VNMAC and relevant units to advise the People's Committee on a list of 10 bomb and mine victims in difficult circumstances in the province, to request livelihood support in 2023.
Dong Thap deploys propaganda to raise awareness of bomb and mine accident prevention.
At the same time, coordinate with VNMAC to notify 10 victims of livelihood support, organize transportation for victims to receive livelihood support gifts according to plan.
In addition, the Department should also provide data on bomb and mine victims to VNMAC as a basis for storing national bomb and mine data.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the People's Committees of Thap Muoi, Tan Hong, Chau Thanh and Tam Nong districts to coordinate with relevant agencies in implementing propaganda activities to raise awareness of bomb and mine accident prevention in 2023 in the area.
At the same time, direct functional departments and communes to strengthen the organization of propaganda on bomb and mine accident prevention and avoidance through film screenings and through district and commune radio stations according to the instructions of the Department of Information and Communications.
