(To Quoc) - Within the framework of activities at the 18th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair, at noon on September 5, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong and Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai visited and surveyed the booths participating in ITE HCMC 2024.
As one of the most influential annual tourism fairs in Asia, the Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2024) with the theme: "Sustainable Tourism - Creating the Future" will be held from September 5 to 7.

Taking place over 3 days, ITE HCMC 2024 will welcome 700 leaders from the world's leading organizations and businesses in the tourism industry from 38 countries and territories.
ITE HCMC 2024 recorded impressive growth with nearly 480 exhibitors. Domestic booths accounted for 77%, foreign booths accounted for 23%.
ITE HCMC 2024 is proud to be a prestigious tourism fair, gathering hundreds of senior leaders and domestic and foreign tourism experts to participate in a series of in-depth seminars and forums.
ITE HCMC, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, aims to connect influential leaders and experts to discuss new tourism trends, challenges and business opportunities.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Fair aims at the identity of sustainable tourism development, not only based on economic benefits but also in harmony with cultural, social and environmental values. One of the outstanding activities of ITE HCMC is the International Buyer program, which also achieved a 10% growth in the number of International Buyers compared to 2023.
