Encourage consumers to get their receipts

According to Mr. Hoang Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Tax Department, after 2 years of implementing the "Lucky Invoice" program, the number of invoices that are suitable and eligible to participate in the program has increased. This shows that consumers have taken more invoices when purchasing goods and services and the "Lucky Invoice" program has had a positive impact on consumer habits, encouraging consumers to take invoices when participating in purchasing transactions. Each quarter, the Provincial Tax Department will select 15 lucky invoices to win prizes.

The “Lucky Invoice” program has brought many practical benefits. For buyers, by obtaining and keeping electronic invoices, requiring sellers to fully record the buyer’s identification information on the invoice, buyers will have the opportunity to win valuable prizes. In addition, buyers’ rights are protected by law in commercial transactions, such as: product warranties, after-sales services, disputes, and complaints about product quality.

Leaders of the Provincial Tax Department awarded prizes to lucky individuals and business households who won prizes in the first quarter.

As for sellers, when a lucky buyer receives a prize from the program, the business, organization, or household that issues the invoice also has the opportunity to introduce and promote its image, thereby attracting more customers, contributing to increasing sales revenue...

On the part of state management agencies, it encourages sellers of goods and services to use electronic invoices, avoids loss of state budget revenue, and contributes to improving the modernization and digitalization of tax management of the tax sector...

Spread widely to the people

To continue to encourage consumers to get invoices and promote the implementation of the "Lucky Invoice" program in 2024, the General Department of Taxation has directed tax departments to continue implementing the "Lucky Invoice" program in 2024, while at the same time, further promoting propaganda work.

Accordingly, the Tax Department of Tuyen Quang province coordinates with local press agencies, radio and television stations to propagate and disseminate the rights and benefits when consumers get invoices to purchase goods and services, thereby encouraging and creating civilized consumption habits.

Provincial Tax Department officials promote the Lucky Invoice program to taxpayers.

Ms. Do Thi Kim Thanh, Head of Propaganda - Taxpayer Support Department, Tuyen Quang Provincial Tax Department said: The Provincial Tax Department has just selected 30 lucky winning invoices of individuals and business households in the second and third quarters of 2024. Every quarter, the Tax Department will select and identify electronic invoices with tax authority codes arising in the quarter, with full buyer identification information (tax code/citizen identification card/identity card/passport), through using the "lucky invoice" selection software of the General Department of Taxation to award prizes to buyers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Ca village, Tan Trao commune (Son Duong) excitedly said: "I was very surprised when the Tax Department of Tuyen Quang province announced that I had just won the first prize worth 5 million VND of the "Lucky Invoice" program in the second quarter of 2024. Many relatives who knew that I won the prize asked me about buying goods to get invoices and also wanted to have the same luck as me."

The implementation of the “Lucky Invoice” program has encouraged consumers to get invoices and also motivated people to fulfill their tax obligations, contributing to transparency in business activities, increasing budget revenue and promoting the development of civilized consumption habits.
