According to the plan, the agencies under the District People's Committee have 9 units subject to merger and reorganization, including: Department of Agriculture & Rural Development, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Ethnic Minorities, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Culture - Information, Department of Education and Training, Department of Economic Infrastructure and Office of the District People's Council - People's Committee. By January 23, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Yen Minh District Party Committee approved the project to merge the agencies. Accordingly, 2 units will be reduced and some functions and tasks will be transferred according to the assignment. The Department of Internal Affairs - the unit advising the District Party Committee, is the focal point to receive and guide the units subject to merger to develop the project, and at the same time, the department is also the unit that has reorganized its tasks by receiving and transferring some functions.
