According to this announcement, on March 28, at the headquarters of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the proposed investment location for the project to build a campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law in Nha Trang City.
At this meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan agreed in principle to allow Ho Chi Minh City University of Law to research and implement the school facility project at the land lot with symbol 07, area of about 2.17 hectares in the North Hon Ong School, Training and Vocational Training Area (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa).
Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is responsible for contacting the Department of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies and units to implement project investment procedures in accordance with the legal procedures on public investment, completing the project and putting it into use before December 31, 2025.
The conclusion of the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to urgently complete the site clearance for the project to invest in the construction of infrastructure for the Bac Hon Ong school, training and vocational training area; Complete the technical infrastructure of the land with code 07, area of about 2.17 hectares.
Agreed to assign Nha Trang City People's Committee to plan and implement the project of planting trees to isolate the buffer zone of the Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant of Nha Trang City to ensure environmental sanitation and landscape of the area.
Sharing more about this information, Dr. Le Truong Son, Vice Principal in charge of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said: "The policy of building a training facility in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province is one of the important orientations of the development strategy of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law to 2030, with a vision to 2045, which has been approved by the University Council. The University is carrying out procedures to implement according to regulations, trying to put it into operation on time as announced by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province".

Meanwhile, on April 28, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son also signed a decision approving the policy of establishing a branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in Gia Lai on the basis of Gia Lai Pedagogical College.
Gia Lai Pedagogical College has decided to become a Branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
This is the content previously agreed upon between Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education Branch in Gia Lai will train in pedagogy, undergraduate and postgraduate programs, cooperate with international universities and model experimental high schools, and provide human resources for the Central Highlands region as well as other provinces.
Previously, in March 2022, the People's Committee of Long An province sent a document to the Ministry of Education and Training approving the establishment of a branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in this province on the basis of Long An College of Education.
According to the document, the People's Committee of Long An province said that the establishment of the branch is really necessary to improve the teacher training capacity of training institutions in the province. This contributes to creating favorable conditions for the province in implementing the roadmap to improve the standard qualifications of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers.
One of the objectives of this project is to maintain and expand the training scale of Long An Pedagogical College, meet the needs of teacher training and development, and develop human resources for Long An province in particular and the Mekong Delta in general.
Thus, with the merger of Long An Pedagogical College and Gia Lai Pedagogical College, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education is expected to have two more branches in Gia Lai and Long An in the near future.
