(HQ Online) - The bustling import-export activities from seaports to roads in Ha Tinh province have helped the budget collection work of Ha Tinh Customs Department to improve. Statistics from January 1 to February 15 show that the entire Department's state budget collection increased by 25.15% compared to the same period in 2023.
Speaking to Customs Magazine, Mr. Bui Thanh San, Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department, said that since the beginning of the year, units in the Department have received and processed procedures for 1,992 sets of declarations with a turnover of 799.4 million USD, an increase of 22.3% over the same period in 2023. Of which, export turnover reached 334.1 million USD, an increase of 16.8% and import turnover reached 465.3 million USD, an increase of 22.3% over the same period in 2023.

From January 16 to February 15 alone, during the Lunar New Year holiday, Ha Tinh Customs Department units received and processed procedures for 1,203 sets of declarations, with import-export turnover reaching 575 million USD and bringing in revenue to the state budget of 861.88 billion VND, Mr. Bui Thanh San added.
With efforts and drastic implementation of many solutions from the beginning of the year, in the first month of the year, Ha Tinh Customs Department collected 1,206.71 billion VND for the state budget, equal to 12.84% of the assigned estimate, up 25.15% over the same period in 2023.
The leading force for the above achievements is still the Vung Ang Port Customs Branch with budget revenue reaching 1,161.89 billion VND; followed by the Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs Branch with 37.53 billion VND and the Xuan Hai Port Customs Branch with 7.28 billion VND.
