People came to support the victims of the mini apartment fire.
On October 27, at the third quarter 2023 meeting of the Steering Committee of Program No. 08-CTr/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee on "Developing the social security system, improving social welfare and quality of life of the people of the capital in the period of 2021-2025", Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong informed about the plan to support victims of the mini apartment fire in Thanh Xuan.
According to Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong, as of the end of September 2023, the total amount of money that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at 3 levels in Hanoi received from organizations, groups and individuals to support the victims of the fire was 112 billion VND. Of which, about 6 billion VND was spent on emergency support activities, helping the victims stabilize their food, accommodation, necessities and living equipment.
On September 30, 2023, a support plan from this VND 112 billion budget was developed and submitted to the city, however, the final plan has not been approved. The city's Fatherland Front Committees at all levels officially stopped receiving support on October 16.
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City plans to announce a plan to support victims of the mini apartment fire in Thanh Xuan District before November 6.
As soon as the plan for distributing support resources is approved, the support will be made public and paid immediately, ensuring compliance with the principles prescribed in Articles 4 and 5 of Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP.
