Different from the initial excitement, when entering school, new students have to face many challenges, from studying to managing their daily lives.
The completely new living environment, learning methods, and living hours have greatly affected the psychology of many young people when they enter university.
After the excitement of being admitted to their favorite university, many new students are stressed by the myriad of difficulties of living away from home for the first time.
Excited about life in Ho Chi Minh City, but after only 1 month of enrolling, Tran Thien An (born in 2006, from Dong Thap, a new student at Van Lang University) shared: "Life away from home is not as rosy and simple as I thought."
Being an extrovert, I thought that getting used to the living environment and making new friends would be easy, but more than a month after enrolling, Thien An still hasn't adapted to everything. "I feel lonely, don't dare to interact with people and always miss home," Thien An said.
Like many other young people, getting used to managing her own spending is also a big problem for Thien An. There was a week when she spent nearly 5 million VND, leaving her "broke". In addition, pressure from friends, managing her own studies or being independent when living alone always made An feel tense and tired, leading to stress.
Swimming alone in a new living environment and new learning methods makes many new students always stressed and tired.
Truong Nam Phong (from Quang Ngai), a freshman at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, said that in the days before entering school, he prepared everything from material things to spirit and health to be ready for the life of a student away from home.
However, Phong's "southern move" encountered many difficulties. From finding a place to rent, traveling, studying to language differences when communicating, he often encountered "half-crying, half-laughing" stories.
"For over a month, I have found everything strange, from the living environment, the way of studying, especially the difficulty in talking to people from different regions, making me almost withdraw into myself, leading to tension, fatigue and stress every day," the male student said.
Many new students experience high levels of stress and tension when starting a new life, which can be detrimental to their health, academic performance, and self-confidence. However, with the dynamism of Gen Z, many have quickly found solutions to reduce stress to have a happier, more confident life and study better.
With EGCG from Thai Nguyen green tea leaves, Tra Xanh Khong Do is a favorite drink of many new students, helping to relieve stress and adapt to a new life.
While drinking a bottle of Khong Do Green Tea, Tran Thien An, a new student at Van Lang University, smiled and said, " Khong Do is stress-free ." The female student said that to overcome the feeling of loneliness in her new living environment, she started participating in a group of students living far from home at a parish in Go Vap every week to expand her relationships and gain more life skills in the city.
"Participating in group activities helps me meet many new friends and especially learn how to manage my expenses. Learning from my seniors helps me become more confident. Every time I sit down to share my life with my friends and enjoy a cold bottle of Zero Degree Green Tea, I feel all my stress and fatigue disappear, and my life gets better every week," the female student from Dong Thap confided.
Making an effort to find fellow countrymen to stay with, play sports and video call home every day is Nam Phong's way of stabilizing his mentality and adapting to his new life.
"No Degree, no stress" has become a fun catchphrase for many new students when looking for ways to relieve tension, fatigue, and reduce stress from daily pressures.
"Every day, outside of school, rest and entertainment, I spend time jogging to relieve stress and also as a way to explore the area where I live. When I'm tired from running, I drink a bottle of Zero Degree Green Tea to dispel tension and fatigue, and reduce stress. Gradually, I feel more confident and comfortable," the male student shared.
Indeed, when having to leave their families and start their own lives, hundreds of thousands of students flocking to the city to start a new life will have to face countless difficulties and challenges, all big and small problems are decided and taken responsibility by themselves. Therefore, for many new students, in addition to trying to integrate into the new environment and life through team activities and sports, many young people choose to use drinks such as Tra Xanh Khong Do with EGCG to dispel stress and fatigue, reduce stress to prepare for a long and beautiful journey ahead in their student life.
