Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture of Ho Chi Minh City becomes Secretary of the Binh Chanh District Party Committee

(Dan Tri) - The Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture of Ho Chi Minh City was appointed as Secretary of the Binh Chanh District Party Committee. He pledged to quickly get up to speed with work and complete all tasks well in the new environment.

On the morning of December 2, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, chaired the ceremony to hand over the decision on cadres. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture, was received by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and appointed to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Chanh District Party Committee.

In his speech assigning tasks, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee commented that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha has matured in the professional fields of management research. The new Secretary of the Binh Chanh District Party Committee has been given favorable conditions in local leadership to mature comprehensively.

Binh Chanh District is a densely populated and urbanizing locality. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha will work with the district Party Committee to carry out economic, political, national defense and security tasks, and build the district in line with the development goals of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai suggested that Binh Chanh district immediately focus on directing the congress. The locality needs to study a streamlined, efficient organizational model that puts the people at the center.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Secretary of the Binh Chanh District Party Committee said that accepting the new assignment was an honor, but also a challenge for him. Binh Chanh District is a new working environment with a lot of pressure.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha committed to soon stabilize and integrate with the work and the district leadership to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha was appointed by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to hold the position of Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture from December 2015 to present.
