Mai An Tiem Award honors 100 typical products of cooperatives nationwide

On the evening of December 11 in Hanoi , the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance held a ceremony to honor typical cooperative products, award the first Mai An Tiem Award in 2024; launch the Month of Action for Cooperatives and the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Central Party Committee member and Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended and delivered a speech.

President of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance Cao Xuan Thu Van delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

According to Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, the choice to honor cooperative products is meaningful because the story of Mai An Tiem is a beautiful symbol of the entrepreneurial spirit of the Vietnamese people from thousands of years ago. With the cooperative economy and cooperative model, the spirit of Mai An Tiem will continue to spread, contributing to building a strong and developed Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as Uncle Ho always wished.

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance honored the 100 most outstanding products out of 920 products of 615 cooperatives nationwide participating in the vote in 2024. These are cooperative products with prestige, quality, competitiveness, large consumer market, trusted by consumers, promoting national identity, traditional values, spreading in the community, and contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the whole country.
