Gathering 8 teams
This year’s tournament brings together 8 teams, representing districts and cities in the province. The players participating are primary school students, born from 2014 onwards, meeting the requirements of academic performance, conduct and health. The matches are organized in the format of 5-a-side mini football.
Expected to start in late May, early June 2025 in Gia Nghia City, the 1st U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup, 2025 promises to bring a vibrant sports playground for young players. The tournament is hosted by Dak Nong Newspaper, coordinated by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the support and companionship from the People's Committees of districts and cities.
The tournament's funding is mainly mobilized from socialized sources, chaired by Dak Nong Newspaper. The Organizing Committee plans to award trophies, medals and cash prizes to the champion, runner-up, third-place and style teams. On an individual basis, the Organizing Committee will award symbolic trophies and cash prizes to the best player, the player with the most goals and the best goalkeeper.
Not only a meaningful sporting event, the tournament also contributes to promoting the youth football movement, welcoming party congresses at all levels and celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
This is also an opportunity to discover and nurture young football talents, helping them to practice physical fitness and foster a spirit of solidarity and nobility in sports.
