The Organizing Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of Gia Lai province has just approved a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day, with a peak in March.
Dai Doan Ket Square, the venue for many activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Gia Lai Province Liberation Day.Through the event, the value and historical significance, the stature of the era of the resistance war against the US, saving the country, liberating the South , and unifying the country are promoted; highlighting the strength of national solidarity; introducing the achievements of the province in 50 years of building and defending the Fatherland. Along with that, the province organized a flower offering ceremony, incense offering to President Ho Chi Minh and a visit to the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery; organized the 50th anniversary of the province's liberation on the morning of March 17.
On this occasion, Gia Lai province will also have many activities in response, including: Trade Fair and Exhibition and introduction of typical products of Gia Lai province (expected to take place from March 13 to 17); Art program "The country is full of joy" (8:00 p.m. on March 17) and summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification in the province. Immediately after the art program is a 15-minute fireworks display.
In addition, there will be a photo exhibition of Gia Lai province's socio-economic development achievements after 50 years; an exhibition of literary and artistic works on the theme "50 years of Gia Lai province's literature and art after the country's reunification" (scheduled from March 15 to 20).
In particular, the province organized delegations to visit and present gifts to revolutionary activists, families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals...; published publications, reportage films, special issues on the province's achievements after 50 years; launched patriotic emulation movements,...
