WTI crude oil prices fell 0.69% to $80.59/barrel, Brent crude oil prices fell 0.55% to $85.02/barrel on Friday amid concerns that global oil demand growth could be hit by a strong US dollar and escalating conflicts in the Middle East.
The decline came despite signs of improving U.S. oil demand and falling fuel inventories, which pushed crude to a seven-week high the previous day. Data released Thursday showed U.S. crude inventories fell by 2.547 million barrels last week, exceeding expectations for a 2 million-barrel decline. U.S. gasoline and distillate inventories also unexpectedly fell, suggesting strong energy demand.
In the Middle East, Israeli forces advanced deeper into the Gaza Strip city of Rafah, raising geopolitical tensions in the region and potentially disrupting oil flows. Still, benchmark crude prices rose about 3% for the week, marking a second straight weekly gain after rising about 4% last week.

The above factors have caused world gasoline prices to tend to increase in recent days.
Regarding the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) in this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided: Not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.
