FPT Long Chau - 'Extended arm' for community health

On June 14 and 15, FPT Long Chau and many leading domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies participated in the "VIth Vietnam Hypertension Conference" organized by the Vietnam Hypertension Association - Vietnam Cardiology Association (VNHA) in Can Tho City. Accordingly, the conference participants had the opportunity to update information on the latest advances, scientific research results and practices with more than 160 reports from leading experts in the health sector with the theme "Intersection of hypertension with cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in 2024"; from which conclusions were drawn to reduce the burden and risk of chronic diseases in the community. Always accompanying the patient community, nearly 100 FPT Long Chau pharmacists participated in training and exchanges with medical experts in this conference. The in-depth knowledge in coordination in research and practice of leading experts, doctors and pharmaceutical manufacturers will continue to be shared by the FPT Long Chau pharmacist team, advising people, thereby helping to ensure compliance with treatment, use of drugs in the right dose, in the right way and improve treatment effectiveness, especially for chronic diseases. Not only focusing on hypertension, the conference also expanded to other areas such as diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, and comorbidities such as coronary artery disease, chronic kidney disease and breathing disorders... and new drug groups such as SGLT2i, GLP1RA,... In particular, the conference brought the latest recommendations on hypertension from Asia (HOPE Asia Network), Europe (ESC/ESH) from hypertension experts from Japan, Malaysia, India... In addition, the conference launched the MMM 2024 program and the week responding to World Hypertension Day 2024 of ISH, continuing the global hypertension management project deployed from the end of May 2024.
