On the morning of January 27, about 9,000 students from high schools in Dong Nai province attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Exam Season Consulting Festival organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai. The program was held at Dong Nai University and was reported online on the website thanhnien.vn, via the fanpage, YouTube, and TikTok channels of Thanh Nien Newspaper.
From early morning, many groups of students came to "check-in" the 2024 Exam Consulting program at the symbol of Dong Nai University. This year, the program entered its 26th season, continuing the journey to help senior students choose a career, choose a school... before the upcoming high school graduation exam and university entrance exam.
Continuously participating in the activities at the booth, Tran Nhu Thao Nguyen (holding the microphone), class 12A1, Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted, commented that the event was "too exciting and too crowded". Standing next to her, Hoang Thi Nam Ninh added: "For me, exam season counseling is a useful and fun career orientation session before the new year. Not only do I get to interact with friends from other schools to increase solidarity, but teachers also answer all my questions about the school and the profession in detail", the female student planning to take the economics exam shared.
A few hundred meters away, Vo Nguyen Nhat Huy (holding a microphone, left), class 12C1, Le Quy Don - Tan Mai High School, "overcame his fear" to register to sing in front of many of his peers, and at the same time received detailed advice on the industrial management industry he wanted to pursue. Bui Ngoc Khai, standing opposite, had predicted that the Exam Season Consulting would only have a few universities and colleges in the province participating. "But when I got here, I was very surprised because there were so many schools in different fields. Not to mention, everyone participated with an enthusiastic mood and the spirit of 'fighting' to get into university," Khai said.
In addition to the cultural exchange, the young people also "partyed" by singing and dancing together under the "guidance" of songs and melodies familiar to young people.
The heat of the Exam Season Consulting program reached its peak when generations of students put their hands on each other's shoulders, turning into a vibrant "train" to explore all the organization space.
A student from Le Quy Don High School (Tan Mai) participated in a quiz activity with prizes in the format of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire program at the Saigon University of Technology booth. Many other activities such as lucky draw, beverage mixing, calligraphy... at other booths also attracted a lot of students' attention.
To help students better understand their majors, many educational institutions also organize practical interactive activities related to their majors, such as experiencing tea ceremony at the booth of Saigon International University, controlling a drone model at the booth of Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, trying out Meta's VR glasses at the booth of FPT University...
Not only participating in experiential activities at the booth, senior students also receive detailed advice from teachers and students at universities and colleges about training programs as well as future career opportunities, spanning a wide range of fields from humanities, social sciences to economics, nature... The consultation tables are always "full" of candidates with many different questions and wishes.

After the first successful opening day at Dong Nai University, the 2024 Exam Consulting organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training of Binh Duong will continue to take place at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The program is expected to attract about 4,000 students, with the participation of more than 30 universities, colleges and study abroad consulting units.
