These are two tiger cubs named Binh and Duong, born in 2023 and raised at the Zoo.

According to the staff here, the two tiger cubs have a father who is a Bengal tiger and was born at Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden in 2014 and their mother is one of four Bengal tigers that Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden received and rescued from the Binh Duong Provincial Forest Protection Department and transferred to care and raise in 2022. Therefore, these two tiger cubs are named Binh and Duong to show the cooperative relationship between Saigon Zoo and Binh Duong Provincial Forest Protection Department.

Since the birth of the two tigers Binh and Duong, there has always been a team of staff at the Zoo taking care of and monitoring the health of all three mother and baby tigers every day. “Binh” and “Duong” are brothers born at the same time, so they will be very similar in appearance and physique, so it will be difficult to distinguish them. However, the identifying feature is that “baby” Duong has a moon pattern on his right elbow.
