Domestic pepper price updated on February 18, 2025

Global pepper prices experienced a spike in mid-2024 and are expected to continue rising this year as production continues to decline and demand outstrips supply, experts say.

Pepper prices may continue to rise in the short term, especially if China, one of the largest customers of Vietnamese pepper, increases imports again. However, pepper prices may stagnate as supplies from the new harvest are gradually replenished.

According to Thestar: Currently, the supply of pepper in the global market is very scarce and demand is expected to continue to increase or remain stable. This will continue to push prices up.
