Innovate and improve the quality of the emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho"

In 2025, units and localities in the province will continue to launch the emulation campaign "Learning and following Uncle Ho", concretizing it with practical models and activities. Thereby, arousing the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, creativity, and development aspirations to build Quang Ninh into a model province, rich, beautiful, civilized, modern, firmly entering the new era - the era of national growth.

The Provincial Party Committee commended typical individuals in the emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho".

In line with Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee "On the direction of tasks in 2025" and Decision No. 3584/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho" for the period 2025-2030, from the beginning of 2025, agencies, units and localities throughout the province have proactively selected and registered to implement the model "Learning and following Uncle Ho" in accordance with their functions and tasks, from the smallest tasks. Thereby contributing to making the movement increasingly practical and effective in all areas of labor, production, caring for life, volunteer work, security protection, environmental protection... in agencies, departments, branches, units, in residential areas, villages, hamlets, neighborhoods...

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, said: In 2024, the entire Party Committee had 182 collectives and individuals registered to implement the model of "Learning and following Uncle Ho", 1,020 images of "Miner - Soldier" in the fields of activities of the Party Committee were built and honored by the units. In 2025, the Party Committees under the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee will continue to implement the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in association with building the image of "Miner - Soldier" so that the movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho" is widely spread, creating motivation to compete, striving to exceed the target of producing more than 38 million tons of coal in 2025, consuming 50 million tons of the whole Group. Along with that, compete to build a cultural life for mine workers, corporate culture, and a culture of the coal industry rich in identity; ensure labor safety, and increase income for workers.

Officials and members of the Women's Union of Cong To village (Tien Lang commune, Tien Yen district) maintain the activities of the Club Preserving the Cultural Identity of the Dao Thanh Y ethnic group.

To make learning and following Uncle Ho more in-depth and practical, the provincial Women's Union at all levels continues to coordinate to promote the propaganda work on the emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho", typical examples on the communication channels of the Union, the province and the central government, to encourage and spread the spirit of learning and following Uncle Ho regularly and continuously. In which, promoting emulation to learn and follow Uncle Ho is associated with the emulation movement "Building the image of Quang Ninh women in the new era with knowledge, morality, health, dynamism, creativity, civilization, friendliness", the campaign "Quang Ninh women build families of 5 no, 3 clean", "5 yes, 3 clean". Up to now, the entire Union has registered and maintained more than 8,100 models of "Learning and following Uncle Ho" in 2025.

Based on the practical situation, each unit and locality deploys the emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho" in conjunction with patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the central and provincial governments, such as: "Skillful mass mobilization", "Youth dedicated to the Party", "All people protect national security", "Civilized communes, wards and towns", "Excellent enterprises, Outstanding entrepreneurs"...

Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized: The emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho" has been actively and seriously implemented by Party committees, authorities, and organizations from the provincial to grassroots levels, especially in reviewing, building, and registering models with many good and creative ways. From 2021 to now, the whole province has 586 collectives and 515 individuals registering over 1,100 provincial-level models of learning and following Uncle Ho. In 2025 and the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department will continue to advise on constantly innovating and improving the overall quality of the emulation movement "Learning and following Uncle Ho". In which, the implementation is associated with the implementation of the resolutions and conclusions of the 4th Central Conference (term XII, XIII), Regulation No. 144-QD/TW of the Politburo "On revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period" and meeting the political tasks of each locality. Thereby, gradually making "Studying and following Uncle Ho" a regular, daily task of every cadre and party member, contributing to creating a clear mark on the implementation of culture and ethics in the Party and the political system.
