Innovation in activities worthy of people's trust and expectations

In 2023, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies promptly developed programs and plans and focused on implementing key tasks of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee in conjunction with the actual situation of the locality. Thereby, it made an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province and actively contributed to the overall achievements of the National Assembly.

Innovation in operations

According to Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Nguyen Huu Thong, last year, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies proactively innovated the form and content of activities and promoted the application of information technology to support professional activities and achieved many positive results. The leaders of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies promptly implemented the instructions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly; the Provincial Deputies demonstrated a high sense of responsibility to the voters and people of the province. In addition, the work of law-making was actively participated by National Assembly Deputies in giving comments on draft laws at the sessions of the National Assembly and the Law Comment Conferences of the National Assembly Committees; participated in giving comments to the National Assembly when deciding on important issues of the country; and provided supreme supervision by the National Assembly. The Delegation paid attention to the handling of citizens' complaints and denunciations and promptly directed them to be handled; urged the sectors to resolve them for citizens in accordance with regulations.

Along with that, the work of meeting voters has been innovated in form and improved in quality, the coordination relationship with sectors and levels has become closer and more frequent. At the meetings with voters, the National Assembly deputies actively explained and propagated the Party and State's guidelines and policies as well as the results achieved in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity from the central to local levels, which were supported by voters. In addition, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has paid attention to information and propaganda work in order to promptly convey the delegation's activities to voters and people. At the same time, timely feedback has been provided to voters about the results of the competent agencies' handling of related recommendations...

Through the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, voters agreed and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Voters said that in the past time, at the National Assembly sessions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation actively carried out many exciting activities, gave many practical opinions to the National Assembly, and conveyed the voters' aspirations to the National Assembly, the Government and the central ministries and branches. Regarding the activities between the two sessions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation carried out many tasks such as: supervision, contact with voters, handling petitions, etc., achieving many practical results.

Focus on information technology application

Entering 2024, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will continue to innovate, be creative, and successfully fulfill its assigned functions and tasks. Specifically, regarding the work of law making, the delegation will collect opinions from relevant agencies and organizations on draft laws submitted to the National Assembly according to Resolution No. 89/2023/QH15 dated June 2, 2023 of the National Assembly on the law and ordinance making program in 2024, and adjust the law and ordinance making program in 2023 when directed and guided by the National Assembly Standing Committee. Regarding supervision activities, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will implement supervision contents according to Resolution No. 90 of the National Assembly on the National Assembly's supervision program in 2023, Resolution No. 833 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the National Assembly Standing Committee's supervision program in 2024.

At the same time, the delegation will continue to research and innovate appropriate methods and ways of contacting voters, especially focusing on applying information technology to improve the effectiveness of contact. At the same time, coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local authorities to organize meetings with voters before and after National Assembly sessions in communes, wards and towns. At the same time, fully synthesize and promptly reflect voters' legitimate and legal opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government, central ministries and branches, People's Committees at all levels and relevant local authorities for consideration and resolution according to their authority.
