The Politburo's Inspection Delegation works with the Standing Committee of Tien Yen District Party Committee

On October 11, Inspection Delegation No. 1349 of the Politburo led by Comrade Nghiem Phu Cuong, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, Deputy Head of the Delegation, had a working session with the Standing Committee of Tien Yen District Party Committee to inspect the leadership, direction, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Attending and accompanying the delegation, on the side of Quang Ninh province, there were comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Duc Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Comrade Nghiem Phu Cuong, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the meeting.

Tien Yen implements the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the action program of the Provincial Party Committee in its position as a pioneering locality of Quang Ninh in innovating leadership methods, streamlining the organization, and completing the project to arrange and merge agencies with similar functions and tasks.

Organizing the research, study and dissemination of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Provincial Action Program, Tien Yen has closely followed the 12 orientations for national development in the period of 2021-2030, 6 key tasks and 3 strategic breakthroughs. From there, the District Party Committee issued Action Program No. 05-CTr/HU on September 28, 2021 with 22 targets based on closely following the practical conditions of the locality.

As a result, 19/22 targets have been achieved and exceeded in the fields of Party building, socio-economics and environment. In particular, the average growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the 2021-2023 period reached 16.7%/year, expected for the whole 2021-2025 period is 16.1%; total social investment capital increased by an average of 25.6%/year, expected for the 2021-2025 period is 22.4%. The urbanization rate in 2023 reached 73.55%; expected to reach 73.65% in 2025. The rate of trained workers reached 65.02% in 2024 and strives for 67.7% by the end of 2025; By the end of 2023, the entire district will have no more poor households according to the Government's multidimensional poverty standards...

Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation spoke at the inspection session.

These results have contributed to improving the quality of life of local people; bottlenecks in economic development have been identified and cleared, Tien Yen has gradually become a regional linkage center in the eastern region of the province.

In the spirit of the report from Tien Yen district, the inspection delegation of the Politburo highly appreciated the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; the results achieved clearly demonstrated the efforts of the entire district political system with many valuable lessons.

Comrade Nguyen Chi Thanh, Secretary of Tien Yen District Party Committee, reported on the implementation results of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the action programs of the Provincial Party Committee.

Specifically: Paying attention to the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; realizing the leadership and direction of the province, closely coordinating with departments, branches and sectors to proactively innovate and plan a comprehensive and appropriate development program; innovating the work of cadres, focusing on training, fostering, planning, and reasonable arrangement to create synchronization, unity, and a spirit of decisive action with the motto "5 truths, 6 dares" of the team of cadres and party members.

However, the report still has some unclear and existing points, some goals are not in line with the province's action program. The inspection team requested Tien Yen district to supplement, clarify, and focus on specific actions and projects.

Members of the inspection team participated in giving additional comments and clarifying the report of Tien Yen district.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, expressed his gratitude for the comments from the inspection team. The contents of the team were very correct and accurate, and will be important guidelines for Tien Yen district in particular and Quang Ninh province in general to recognize and improve.

As a locality in the central eastern region of the province, Tien Yen has made great efforts in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Action Program of the province with specific solutions, many new models and achieved many important results.

Concluding the working session, comrade Nghiem Phu Cuong, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, highly appreciated the actions and solutions of Tien Yen district, and acknowledged the efforts in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. The sense of responsibility, seriousness in preparing the report, and close coordination with the inspection team. The results of the work gave the inspection team further assessments of the organization, study, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Contributing to Tien Yen district, he suggested drawing experience, researching, adjusting and supplementing the contents that the Inspection Team had discussed. In which, it is necessary to deepen the results that have been achieved, closely following each specific target and task; especially pointing out the reasons for targets and tasks that have not been achieved; there must be supporting and supplementary data, accompanied by full relevant documents and records as a basis for the Inspection Team to synthesize and review on the basis of some contents related to the inspection. In which, the district needs to deepen the new and unique ways of doing things of the locality.
