EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF ALL ASPECTS OF WORK
In 2023, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will continue to promote the achieved results, unite, be unified, closely follow the functions, tasks and powers according to the Constitution and laws, effectively perform all aspects of work and achieve many positive results in areas such as: law-making, supervision, survey, contact with voters, handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections of citizens, participating in discussions and deciding on important issues of the country and the locality; coordinate well in implementing social security activities, worthy of the role of representing the People.
The provincial National Assembly Delegation has made important contributions to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building the political system; actively contributing to the common achievements of the National Assembly, the country and the locality.
Notably, during the year, the delegation organized 33 rounds of collecting opinions on 25 draft laws, 5 draft resolutions, and submissions to the National Assembly sessions and compiled reports for the National Assembly Standing Committee. At the same time, it sent the National Assembly deputies in the delegation to select research content and participate in discussions at the National Assembly sessions. Many opinions of the delegation were studied, accepted, and revised by the Drafting Committee before being approved.
The delegation also actively participated in supervision activities at the National Assembly session; coordinated and participated in supervision and survey programs of National Assembly agencies in Nghe An province and thematic supervision of the Provincial People's Council.
The delegation also implemented 5 monitoring topics and 1 survey topic, through which it directly worked with 53 units and localities and supervised through reviewing reports for 22 units and localities in the province.
After the monitoring sessions, the delegation sent reports to the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the monitored units, making 133 recommendations and proposals to the National Assembly, the Government, central ministries, branches and local authorities on monitoring issues and fields.
Voter contact activities are always of interest to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and are carried out regularly, aiming to closely connect with voters to listen to their thoughts and aspirations, synthesize voters' opinions and reflect them to the sessions, and urge the competent authorities to resolve them.
Since the beginning of the year, the delegation has organized 40 meetings with voters; thereby, synthesizing and classifying, issuing a report summarizing voters' opinions and recommendations before and after the 5th session, before the 6th session, of which, there are 56 voters' recommendations under the authority of the Central agency to report to the National Assembly Standing Committee, 121 voters' recommendations under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee and 4 recommendations under the authority of Nghe An Electricity Company.
The delegation fully and seriously participated in 5 National Assembly sessions (including 3 thematic sessions). The National Assembly deputies in the delegation seriously participated with a high sense of responsibility in plenary sessions and group discussions.
During the two regular sessions, 19 delegates participated in the discussion in the hall, 73 delegates participated in the discussion in groups, and 12 opinions were sent in writing to participate in the submissions, draft laws, draft resolutions and reports on socio-economic issues, the State budget, and important issues under the authority of the National Assembly. The activities of the delegation at the sessions were closely followed, noted and highly appreciated by voters.
Social security activities in the province have received special attention from the National Assembly. In 2023, it contributed and mobilized businesses and philanthropists to contribute with a total value of over 50 billion VND, notably calling for support to build 727 houses for the poor in the province.
The delegation has performed well in receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations; information and propaganda work; foreign affairs activities; organizing and participating in conferences and seminars...
At the conference, the National Assembly deputies in the delegation highly agreed with the assessment reports of 2023, and at the same time, gave their opinions to continue improving the delegation's operational efficiency.
PROMOTING THE IMAGE AND VOICE OF THE NA DELEGATION
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien suggested that the report should emphasize and deepen the coordination between the Provincial National Assembly Delegation with the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in performing tasks, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee; organize to collect public opinions on the Draft Law on Land (amended); at the same time, have close coordination with the Nationalities Council and Committees of the National Assembly.
In the coming time, comrade Do Van Chien requested the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province to pay attention to implementing the Secretariat's Directive to support Tet care for the poor.
In his concluding remarks, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province emphasized that in 2023, the National Assembly Delegation of the province was united, unified, shared, and attached on the basis of properly implementing the principles, regulations, and authority of the National Assembly Delegation.

The image and voice of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province were affirmed, communication work about the delegation was carried out relatively well; the arrangement and service for the delegation received attention and care.
In the coming time, the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province proposed to continue promoting the 4 outstanding achievements in 2023.
At the same time, actively innovate voter contact activities, such as organizing meetings with voters in other constituencies; by major, topic, target... to reach more classes and strata of voters. Thereby, he requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council to develop a plan from the beginning of 2024 for implementation.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province also suggested that the delegation continue to pay attention to improving the quality of work with the Provincial People's Committee and other sectors; accordingly, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council needs to focus on reviewing and signing coordination regulations with units; in the immediate future, in early 2024, the coordination regulations will be signed with the Provincial People's Committee. Thereby, grasping, understanding and synthesizing more issues to support and contribute to the implementation of the province's political tasks.
In 2024, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies also needs to develop plans, strengthen coordination and work with a number of Committees and the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, ministries and branches.
Comrade Thai Thanh Quy also suggested that delegates continue to pay attention to investing deeply in some areas of strength and have deep understanding to contribute quality, accurate and relevant opinions; at the same time, National Assembly deputies, especially non-professional delegates, spend more time on the activities of the delegation.
At the conference, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies agreed on the Work Program and Supervision Program for 2024.
