Delegation of Vietnam Chemical Group visited and worked at VinFast factory (Vingroup Corporation)

On October 8, 2024, the delegation of Vietnam Chemical Group led by Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy General Director in charge of the Executive Board, visited and worked at VinFast factory (Vingroup Corporation) in Hai Phong. Accompanying them were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh, Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Van Luyen, Controller; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Chemical Industry Trade Union; representatives of the leaders of professional departments and leaders of some member units of the Group. This event marks a milestone since September 27, 2024, when the two sides had a working session and discussed cooperation in using products and services of both sides' ecosystems with the goal of green and sustainable development, contributing to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". On the VinFast side, the delegation was welcomed by Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of Vingroup and President of VinFast, along with leaders of the VinFast factory. Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of Vingroup and President of VinFast, thanked the delegation for visiting VinFast. She stated that after the meeting on September 27, Vingroup wanted to raise the level of cooperation between the two sides to a higher level in accordance with the spirit of Vingroup "The strong spirit of Vietnam for a green future" which is Vietnamese companies cooperating with each other to develop their strengths and together bring Vietnamese enterprises to the world. According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, after the previous meeting, the two sides immediately deployed the work, and the Group sent a document to the units regarding the use of Vingroup's products. Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu stated that the member units present today are units with a long history in production, domestic products have a solid position, many years of achieving high-quality Vietnamese products, especially exported to some demanding countries such as the US... with a force of more than 5,500 engineers, experts, and technical workers, he believes that the ability to cooperate with partners including Vingroup can meet the most stringent requirements. He added that currently, the Vietnam Chemical Group is developing in the direction of green and sustainable development. The Group is also following the Prime Minister's direction to cooperate with domestic corporations and general companies to strengthen the country's internal strength. This shows that the two Groups have a very suitable direction according to the direction of the Party and the State, and the Vietnam Chemical Group is determined to follow that spirit for the development of cooperation between the two sides. Also at the meeting, the units of the Group highly appreciated Vingroup and hoped to accompany Vingroup to share and develop their brands more strongly. Through the factory tour, the units affirmed that they could fully meet the requirements of the factory from electric bicycle tires to high-end product lines and technical rubber. The units believed that this was a potential to invest in products to overcome challenges and develop together, and also hoped that the two sides would cooperate for a long time.
