Ministry of Construction delegation works in Dak Nong province

From November 7-8, the Ministry of Construction organized a working group to urge and guide the implementation of the assessment and supervision of Project 5 "Housing support for poor and near-poor households in poor districts" under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in Dak Nong province.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Thanh Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, raised difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the program. Most of the supported subjects do not have legal residential land. The construction land is located within the bauxite planning boundary. The low support level makes it impossible for poor households to build houses that meet the 3-hard criteria. The high price of construction materials makes it impossible for poor households to have enough counterpart funds to build houses that meet the 3-hard criteria...

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Ha Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management (Ministry of Construction) acknowledged the efforts of Dak Nong province in providing many solutions in implementing the program. The Department of Construction is flexible in supporting, guiding, and advising on timely adjustments to help people complete their housing construction and improve their lives.

However, the difficulties in the implementation process that Dak Nong province and many other provinces and cities across the country have encountered have resulted in low progress. Therefore, relevant agencies and district People's Committees need to provide timely support to each household to complete legal procedures to help them qualify for house construction.
