This year, Hanoi National University of Education plans to enroll about 4,400 students using 5 admission methods: Considering the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, direct admission, considering high school transcripts, entrance exams (aptitude exams, capacity assessment exams), and combining entrance exams and admission.

The direct admission method is for candidates who are students participating in excellent student teams, students from specialized high schools (or high schools under Hanoi Pedagogical University, Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University), students with international foreign language and information technology certificates.

Admission method: Based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University of Education or Ho Chi Minh City National University of Education before May 25, combined with high school academic results.

Note, candidates can register up to 2 admission wishes using this method; can register 2 different combinations for admission to the same training major if available.

With this method, the school organizes exams to assess the ability of the subjects of Math, Literature, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, and Geography for candidates who satisfy the prescribed admission conditions and wish to be admitted to the school's majors.

The 2024 Hanoi National University of Education's Competency Assessment Exam will be held at 3 locations: Hanoi National University of Education, Quy Nhon University, and University of Education (University of Danang).
