Hanoi Medical University's benchmark score in 2024, psychology is the highest

This year's benchmark score for Hanoi Medical University ranges from 19 to 28.83, the highest being psychology in block C00 (literature, history, geography).

If applying with block D01 (math, literature, English) and B00 (math, chemistry, biology) to major in psychology, candidates need to achieve 26.86 and 25.46 points respectively.

This is the first time Hanoi Medical University has recruited for this major, and also the first time it has recruited using block C00.

Compared to last year, the benchmark scores of many majors of Hanoi Medical University in 2024 increased compared to last year, especially hot majors.

Specifically, the benchmark score for the Medical industry last year was 27.73 points but this year it increased to 28.27.

Dentistry last year was 27.5 points but this year it is 27.67.

This year, Hanoi Medical University is recruiting 1,720 students. According to the announcement, the major with the highest employment rate after 2 years of graduation is Ophthalmology with 98%.

Coming in second is the Public Health sector with 94%.

Medicine and Medical Laboratory Technology tied for third place with 93%.

3 new majors to open the regular university system of Hanoi Medical University in 2024 include: Midwifery, Dental Prosthetics and Psychology.

Of which, Psychology major takes 60 quotas, recruiting blocks B00 (math, chemistry, biology), C00 (literature, history, geography) and D01 (math, literature, English). Each block has 20 quotas.

Another major of the school that also recruits block D01 is Public Health with 20 quotas.

In the 2024 university entrance exam, Hanoi Medical University has many new points.

Specifically, in addition to the direct admission policy, the school has three independent admission methods marked by three codes: 100, 409 and 402.

Admission method 100, considering high school graduation exam results in 2024 for all majors.

Admission method 409 combines high school graduation exam results with international English or French certificates for the following majors: Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing advanced programs.

The admission score of the 409 admission method is no more than 3 points lower than the admission score of the 100 admission method and must not be lower than the input quality assurance threshold set by the school.

In case the quota is not met by method 409, the school will reserve the remaining quota for method 100.

The third admission method is 402, considering the competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University. The majors applying this method include: Midwifery, Nursing Thanh Hoa branch, Medical testing technology Thanh Hoa branch, Rehabilitation technology Thanh Hoa branch.

Candidates must have an HSA score of 75 or higher to apply using this method.
