In 2024, the enrollment target for training special command and staff officers of the Special Command Officer School is 58, recruiting candidates nationwide. The school recruits and trains university-level command officers at the platoon level in the following 3 majors:

- Special Forces

- Water commando

- Special forces

Previously, in 2023, the benchmark score for the Special Forces Officer School based on the high school graduation exam score was 18.05 points for male candidates in the North. This score scale applies to two admission groups A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and A01 (Math, Physics, English).

For male candidates in the South, the school set the standard score at 22.45 points.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates confirm online admission for the first round.

From August 28, schools will announce additional enrollment. From September to December 2024, schools will conduct the next enrollment rounds and update the list of successful candidates and enroll according to regulations.
