The 2024 high school graduation exam basically maintains the same structure as the 2023 high school graduation exam and is similar to the reference exam announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.
According to teachers' assessment, the exam closely followed the requirements of the goal of obtaining exam results for high school graduation, and at the same time, there was differentiation shown in the last group of questions to serve the goal of university admission.

According to teachers' analysis, in terms of knowledge content, the exam closely follows the structure and format of high school graduation exams in recent years, with 90% of the questions (45 questions) belonging to the 12th grade program and 10% of the questions (5 questions) belonging to the 11th grade program.
In terms of difficulty, this year's exam is considered to be more difficult than the 2023 exam.
About 45 questions in the test (90%) are familiar types of questions that students have encountered and practiced during their review process. Of which, the first 38 questions are questions at the recognition-comprehension level, which can be easily solved if you have a solid grasp of the knowledge base.
The test has 5 questions of a classified nature and is part of the 12th grade knowledge section on the following topics: Complex numbers, functions, exponentials - logarithms, Oxyz shapes and antiderivatives - integrals (similar to the 2024 reference test). The application questions are mostly familiar types of questions that have appeared in official tests or tests of schools and departments (such as extreme values of functions, volume of solids of revolution, volume of prisms, etc.).
The exam has many high-level, very difficult application questions, which can make most candidates confused in finding solutions, such as questions 46 - 50 (test code 110).
To be able to solve these questions, according to teachers, candidates need to be calm, quick-witted, have good thinking skills, and need to combine a lot of knowledge in the subject.
