The Ministry of Education and Training announced the answers to all multiple-choice exams on July 3, four days after the high school graduation exam.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the answers and grading scale for the Literature subject on July 1. Provinces and cities are in the process of grading the exams to announce the exam results to candidates on July 18. Candidates who want to have their exams reviewed can submit their applications from July 18 to July 27.
The high school graduation exam took place on June 28-29 with more than one million candidates. Of these, more than 943,300 candidates used the results to both consider graduation recognition and apply to universities and colleges.
Evaluating the exam questions for each subject, teachers all said that the structure was similar to last year but the classification was somewhat higher, making it difficult for there to be a "rain" of 10s.
However, the exam also received many complaints. For example, in the Literature subject, the exam was said to be similar to the mock exam of Nghe An province or the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi. However, the Ministry of Education and Training dismissed this suspicion. In the English exam, two questions in the code 401 were said to have many correct answers. The Ministry said it was reviewing to answer the questions.
