Previously, on June 10-11, 104,000 students in Hanoi took three exams in Literature, Foreign Language and Mathematics to be admitted to public high schools (mass). With a target of about 72,000, the admission rate was 66.5%.
The admission score is the sum of the Literature and Math scores multiplied by a factor of two, along with the Foreign Language and Priority scores. Students applying to specialized schools must take additional specialized subject tests, so the admission score for specialized 10th grade is the sum of the three Math, Literature, Foreign Language tests and the specialized subject score multiplied by a factor of two.
According to the plan, from June 12 to 25, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will organize the exam marking. The expected time to announce the exam scores is July 4, and the standard scores are announced on July 8-9. If admitted, candidates will enroll online. From July 18, schools that do not meet their enrollment quota will begin to consider additional enrollment.
