Attending the meeting were members of the Ministry's Initiative Council who are leaders of units under the Ministry.
Reporting on the status of dossier appraisal and recognition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, said that the Standing Committee of the Council has received 168 dossiers requesting recognition of the effectiveness of application and scope of influence of initiatives and topics of units under the Ministry, including 16 dossiers requesting national level; 152 dossiers requesting ministerial level.
After receiving the documents, the Standing Committee of the Council checked the completeness and validity of the documents and discussed with the proposing units to supplement the documents according to regulations.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Council agreed to recognize the effectiveness of application and scope of influence of 157 dossiers, including 16 dossiers proposed at the national level; 141 dossiers proposed at the ministerial level.
The Standing Committee of the Council did not approve 11 applications because the applications were not complete according to regulations, the effectiveness and scope were not within the Ministry or national level, there were no supporting documents or the supporting documents were not suitable.
Speaking at the meeting, the Council members basically agreed and highly appreciated the Standing Council for its impartial and objective work in appraising and evaluating the application dossiers, recognizing the effectiveness of application, the scope of influence at the national and ministerial levels of initiatives and topics. At the same time, they also discussed and analyzed to clarify the novelty, scientific nature, practicality, effectiveness, scope of spread as well as the spread of the proposed initiatives...
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa highly appreciated the initiatives submitted to the Council. “The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment as well as the Council look forward to receiving more initiatives from units to contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management of the natural resources and environment sector, which will also bring practical benefits and efficiency to the country,” the Deputy Minister emphasized.
The Deputy Minister said that units need to pay attention to small initiatives and improvements of cadres, civil servants and workers, such as improving processes and content in regulatory documents to help make work better, more practical for the industry and have a great impact.
The Deputy Minister requested that the units closely coordinate with the Department of Personnel Organization to supplement missing documents, clarify the names of the topics, their effectiveness and major impacts on the industry and society to soon complete them for submission to the Council for voting and approval according to regulations.
