According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, in 2023, the whole city of Hanoi had 102,095 candidates registered to take the exam; of which, the number of candidates taking the exam under the high school education program was 881,831 candidates (including 3,361 independent candidates); the number of candidates taking the exam under the regular education program was 13,264 candidates (including 293 candidates).

Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVNHANOI) has developed a plan to ensure safe and stable electricity at all locations: Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi Department of Education and Training, locations serving the Examination Council; Exam Board; Exam printing and copying service locations; review locations and 189 exam locations from June 27, 2023 to June 30, 2023.
During the period of ensuring electricity, EVNHANOI arranged nearly 6,500 additional shifts to inspect and patrol the cable corridor supplying key transformer stations, to prevent incidents due to violations of the line corridor; to increase inspection and temperature measurement of cable terminal contacts as well as equipment to detect overload; to inspect the cable corridor to promptly detect and prevent cases of digging in the cable protection corridor that could cause grid insecurity.
In addition, the unit checks and prepares generators and means of transport to be ready to work when an incident occurs.

As a parent whose child is taking the exam this time, Mr. Nguyen Hai Minh (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) shared: "My child is taking the high school graduation exam, my family is very worried, we can only encourage and create the best conditions for my child to try to do well on the exam. Recently, there have been few power outages in my area, so my child can focus on studying for the exam."
On duty at Chu Van Anh High School, Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh, a worker at Tay Ho Electricity Company, said: " We coordinated with the school's management board to check the entire electrical system in the classrooms. In addition to the grid power source, we have prepared a backup plan with generators to ensure the exam is safe ."

We will coordinate with the school and relevant agencies to ensure the best conditions for candidates to take the exam most conveniently, and be ready to promptly fix any electrical problems that may arise ."
The plans and solutions implemented early will help provide safe and stable electricity to serve 189 examination sites in Hanoi as well as help candidates have a stable mentality to take the exam.
EVNHANOI will mobilize all available human resources and equipment to work with the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to organize the Hanoi high school graduation exam with the highest results.
