From 2020 to present, Dak Nong province has built and repaired 796 houses for the poor, people in difficult circumstances, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution, worth more than 56 billion VND. Housing support programs and policies have had a positive impact on the lives of ethnic minority households, policy families with meritorious services, poor and near-poor households; many households that were homeless or had temporary houses now have decent houses, stabilize their lives, rise out of poverty and become rich legitimately.

Building houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households has mobilized the participation of all levels, sectors and the whole society with the spirit of "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", "the less torn leaves cover the more torn leaves", whoever has something to help.

However, up to now, the province still has about 6,023 households living in temporary, dilapidated houses; of which, 1,755 households are eligible and in urgent need of housing support from programs and policies.

Localities should promote proactiveness and flexibility in mobilizing socialization, with the goal of having more households facing housing difficulties receive support.

In particular, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee directed departments, branches and localities to review and prioritize support for building and repairing houses for policy families and ethnic minorities on the spot, even providing additional funding, because these are households that have contributed to the revolution, stayed in the village and kept the land. Program No. 92-CTr/TU
