At the opening ceremony and doctoral degree awarding ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, the school's principal, emphasized that with nearly 70 years of growth and development, the National Economics University is proud to be a training center for managers, experts, and leading scientists in the fields of economics, management, and business administration; and is one of the first educational institutions in Vietnam to conduct postgraduate training.
The university's postgraduate training program has a history of nearly 50 years, providing generations with opportunities for advanced study and research. Generations of postgraduate students are an important part of building the school's position.
Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong spoke at the ceremony.
In his message to the 91 newly-awarded PhDs, Professor Chuong shared that lifelong learning is the best foundation to build a bright future for each individual, as well as for their family and country. The new PhDs can be completely proud of the journey they have taken and what they have achieved.
“You have proven yourself by overcoming difficulties and challenges. A doctorate degree is an important milestone in everyone’s life, opening a new stage full of promise but also full of responsibility. Your success will always be the pride of your family, teachers, and school,” said Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong.

According to Mr. Chuong, this is a special course with many research articles published in ISI/Scopus journals, with dozens of new PhDs as main authors of prestigious works.
To the 124 PhD students of the 45th course, Professor Chuong sent his greetings to the common home of National Economics. According to him, the upcoming PhD journey will have times when you will experience anxiety, stress, fatigue, and even deadlock. However, that is part of life, part of the PhD student job.
"I believe that you will overcome everything and step up to the podium to receive your doctorate degree," said Professor Pham Hong Chuong.

Representing the new PhDs, Dr. Nguyen Nhat Linh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union, expressed that the PhD degree from the National Economics University is an aspiration that he and other new PhDs are very happy and proud to achieve.
“In addition to the significance of an academic degree, the highest degree in the national education system, it is also a life degree of teacher-student and friendship love, and above all, the love of science, from the heart-centered lesson plan with the philosophy of life that teachers have imparted, always lighting up and conveying in the heart of each graduate student the energy to overcome difficulties and challenges,” said Dr. Nguyen Nhat Linh.
Also at the ceremony, the 45th batch of graduate students affirmed that they will always strive their best, constantly learn, be creative and persevere to overcome all challenges, contributing to bringing valuable contributions to science and society.
