(GLO)- Delegates of the People's Council of Phu Thien district (Gia Lai province) recently had a meeting and dialogue with 90 outstanding children, representing more than 27,000 children in the entire district.
Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Hoang Phong - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of District People's Council; Ms. Trinh Thi Hong - Vice Chairman of District People's Council; Nguyen Ngoc Ngo - Permanent Vice Chairman of District People's Committee; Ksor H' Mloan - Secretary of District Youth Union co-chaired the dialogue.

After listening to Ms. Trinh Thi Hong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council presenting a report on the results of the implementation of Conclusion No. 62/TB-HĐND dated September 6, 2022 on the Conclusion of the Standing Committee of the District People's Council at the Program of contact and dialogue between the District People's Council delegates and children in 2022, 14 children participated in a direct dialogue with the delegates. The children frankly exchanged questions and recommendations such as: Life skills education for adolescents; the strong development of information technology affecting young people, school violence, school health, vocational orientation for students, learning conditions, entertainment, etc. The recommendations and proposals of the children were directly and satisfactorily answered by the District People's Council delegates, leaders of the District People's Committee, agencies, departments, branches, district unions, and local authorities, as well as received and paid attention to in order to have better implementation directions in the coming time.
On this occasion, Phu Thien District People's Council honored 35 typical "Good people, good deeds" children and presented bicycles donated by Mr. Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council to 35 students with especially difficult circumstances, helping them go to school. The District People's Council also presented 90 gifts to children attending the contact and dialogue program.
