Hoang Anh Gia Lai successfully offered 130 million individual shares, raising VND1,300 billion.
The information has just been announced by Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (HAG).
The three investors include: Mr. Le Minh Tam - an individual investor who bought 28 million shares, accounting for 2.65% of the capital; LPBank Securities Company bought 50 million shares, accounting for 4.73% of the capital and Thaigroup Corporation bought 52 million shares, accounting for 4.92%.
With the offering price of 10,000 VND per share, the company earned 1,300 billion VND.
After the private offering, the company also approved an amendment to its charter, increasing its capital from nearly VND9,275 billion to nearly VND10,575 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, Hoang Anh Gia Lai has undergone many changes. In April, the company changed its brand identity with colors quite similar to LPBank's logo.
On March 4, LPBank also poured VND5,000 billion into Hoang Anh Gia Lai through a sponsorship contract, with priority given to investment in green agriculture.
In November 2023, this bank signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Football Academy and Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club. After signing, Hoang Anh Gia Lai announced to change the name of the Academy and the Club to LPBank - Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Academy and LPBank - Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club.
In the 2023 annual report, Mr. Duc said that signing a comprehensive cooperation agreement with LPBank will help bring stable financial resources to Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
In 2024, the company plans to plant an additional 2,000 hectares of bananas, increasing the area from 7,000 hectares to 9,000 hectares. At the same time, the company will plant an additional 500 hectares of durian, increasing the area from 1,500 hectares to 2,000 hectares.
Last year, Mr. Duc's company achieved net revenue of VND6,932 billion, up 36% over the previous year. Hoang Anh Gia Lai's net profit reached more than VND1,817 billion - the highest level in the past 13 years of business. Total assets at the end of 2023 were VND21,527 billion, an increase of more than VND1,700 billion after one year. The company's accumulated loss has halved, to nearly VND1,700 billion.
