Loa Thanh Award is an initiative of the Vietnam Construction Association (now the Vietnam Construction Association), organized since 1988, with the initial goal of awarding prizes to outstanding graduation projects of university students majoring in Construction - Architecture.
The scale of the Award has been expanded and has the participation of the Vietnam Association of Architects, the Ministry of Construction and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Loa Thanh Awards are held annually. The highest governing body is the Awards Council. The rotating Chairman of the Council is a representative from the presiding agencies and the Organizing Committee is chaired by the Vietnam Construction Association. The 36th Loa Thanh Awards - 2024 are chaired by the Vietnam Association of Architects and are responsible for the rotating Chairman of the Awards Council.

The Loa Thanh Award for Architecture and Planning received 131 graduation projects from 17 training institutions nationwide. This year's award emphasizes the following criteria: Creative architectural ideas; Social aspects of the project, solving issues of social concern, approaching sustainable design trends; Feasibility in using materials, technology, and structural structure; Ability to express and present ideas coherently and convincingly.
This year, the Loa Thanh Award in the field of Architecture - Planning has 2 First prizes, 18 Second prizes, 24 Third prizes and 22 Encouragement prizes.
Mr. Mai Xuan Duc, General Director of Viglacera Ceramic Tiles Trading Joint Stock Company, on behalf of the Council, awarded the Certificate of Creativity to 2 First Prizes and 11 Second Prizes at the event.
Also within the framework of the event, Mr. To Ngoc Linh, Deputy Marketing Director of the Company, was honored to represent the Company to receive the certificate of honor for the Gold sponsor for the 3rd Loa Thanh Award - 2024.

The Loa Thanh 2024 season has ended with many good results from future architects. The award ceremony also affirmed the strong relationship between Viglacera and the meaningful activities of the Vietnam Association of Architects.
