Chau Thanh district (Dong Thap) recognized as meeting new rural standards

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Dong Thap province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of Chau Thanh district to continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on production and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

* In Chau Thanh district, 11/11 communes have met new rural standards, 3/11 communes have met advanced new rural standards including: Tan Nhuan Dong commune (reached in 2021), An Nhon commune (reached in 2022), Tan Binh commune (reached in 2023).

Vice Chairman of Chau Thanh District People's Committee Phan Thanh Dung said that the district continues to develop a plan to develop concentrated fruit tree production areas, associated with promoting the transfer of scientific and technical advances into production, especially the application of digital transformation in product traceability.
