(HQ Online) - The Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department's Trade Union organized many meaningful activities at the ceremony to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

On March 8, at the ceremony to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, Party Secretary and Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department Dinh Ngoc Thang sent his best wishes to the women in the unit, and at the same time acknowledged and thanked the great contributions of female officers and employees to the unit's overall achievements in the past time.

Director Dinh Ngoc Thang highly appreciated the role of female officers and civil servants in the past time who have made every effort to both fulfill their role as women in the family and contribute greatly to the overall success of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department.

The Director hopes that women will continue to set an example in building family happiness, creating a solid foundation to truly feel secure in their work and complete their professional tasks well. “The Department’s leadership will always create the best conditions for female officers to improve their professional knowledge and develop their abilities…” – Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thang emphasized.

At the celebration, after reviewing the traditions of International Women's Day and the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department Trade Union organized many practical activities, such as flower arrangement contests and Ao Dai performances. In particular, at the celebration, Dr. Huynh Van Thong, former Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication - University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Ho Chi Minh City National University, introduced the topic "Emotional management skills and work-life balance".

In addition, many practical activities were also organized at some customs branches. The Customs Branch for Investment Management organized a photo contest of Ao Dai to honor traditional costumes, a typical cultural symbol of Vietnam.

According to Head of the Investment Customs Branch Le Tuan Binh, in response to the Ao Dai Week of Ho Chi Minh City, with the encouragement and motivation of the leaders and the Trade Union Executive Committee of the Branch, female officers and civil servants wearing Ao Dai to work not only enhance the gentle beauty of women but also spread to people and businesses the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation...
