To promote the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo (12th tenure) on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, the Dong Trieu Town Police Party Committee has concretized it into specific and practical actions. Thereby, changing the awareness and actions of officers and soldiers in performing their duties, building the image of the people's police soldiers to be more and more beautiful in the hearts of the people.
In recent years, the model of "volunteering to work overtime and on weekends" to issue citizen identification cards (CCCD) to people has always been actively responded to and responsibly participated in by the officers of the Social Order Administrative Team, Dong Trieu Town Police. The team also effectively maintains working groups that directly go to the grassroots to carry out procedures for issuing mobile CCCDs, especially free procedures for policy beneficiaries, the elderly, the disabled, and the seriously ill who are unable to move around... Through the above meaningful activities, it not only contributes to improving the quality of the unit's administrative reform work but also builds the image of the officers of Dong Trieu Town Police more and more beautiful in the hearts of the people.
The above model is just one of many practical activities in learning and following Uncle Ho's example that Dong Trieu Town Police have deployed in recent times. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Son, Party Secretary, Head of Dong Trieu Town Police, said: Determining that implementing Directive No. 05 is one of the key contents in the work of Party building and building a clean and strong police force, in recent years, the Dong Trieu Town Police Party Committee has proactively developed a plan to disseminate and deploy to the entire unit. 100% of officers and soldiers are committed to cultivating, striving, and training to seriously implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW in conjunction with Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee and the movement "People's Police studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings" in the new situation...
Through many rich propaganda activities, studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style has a strong influence, creating motivation for officers and soldiers in the unit to strive to perform well the assigned tasks. Notably, the unit has effectively built and maintained 14 projects and tasks to build a beautiful image of police officers in the hearts of the people, such as: "Volunteering to work overtime and on holidays" to ensure security and order; participating in epidemic prevention teams; building a plan to organize a police forum to listen to people's opinions... Through the above activities, it has contributed to creating a strong change in the awareness, ideology and actions of officers and soldiers, creating people's trust in the police force.

In the field of ensuring political security, the Town Police have proactively grasped the situation, promptly advised the local Party Committee and authorities to direct the effective resolution of many complicated incidents occurring in the area. Notably in 2022, the unit proactively advised the Town Party Committee and the Town People's Committee to issue 165 documents to ensure security and order, rectify and overcome shortcomings, shortcomings and problems arising in key areas, such as: Economic management, basic construction, project implementation... to avoid complications. Especially in 2022, the town continued to implement over 30 major projects, site clearance work related to over 5,000 households. The Town Police also advised the local authorities to effectively resolve arising issues right at the grassroots level, so site clearance work in the area has been well implemented, ensuring security and safety, without having to organize enforcement.
Following Uncle Ho's words, the Town Police have also focused on implementing well social prevention and professional prevention solutions in conjunction with carrying out 4 peak periods of attacking and suppressing crimes; focusing on reviewing subjects under management, especially criminals operating in groups, operating on multiple lines... Thanks to that, in the past time, there have been no serious cases in the area, causing public outrage. Notably, in 2022, the unit has dismantled 5 criminal groups, handling 32 subjects. In particular, it has dismantled an inter-provincial property theft ring, arrested 3 subjects who committed 6 property theft cases; dismantled a property theft ring in the area, seized many assets...
With the achievements, in 2022, the unit had 55 collectives and 75 individuals being commended and recognized by central, provincial and local ministries and branches.
