Announcement of early admission scores after May 31
Regarding the high school graduation exam from 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training said that in order to properly assess students' learning outcomes, the goals and standards must be achieved according to the requirements of the 2018 general education program.
Using exam results to consider recognizing high school graduation and as one of the bases for evaluating the quality of teaching and learning of general education institutions and the direction of education management agencies; providing reliable data for universities and vocational education institutions to use in enrollment in the spirit of autonomy.

Regarding competency assessment exams, thinking assessment exams... organized by educational institutions, the Ministry of Education and Training will specify regulations on state management to ensure inspection and supervision of exam quality regarding the question bank construction process; exam questions must not exceed the 2018 education program.
This point is very important according to the Ministry of Education and Training, so that students do not have to study separately, which can disrupt teaching and learning in general schools.
Currently, each school is using a different form. According to the Ministry, it is necessary to aim for a unified and safe exam organization process and avoid many forms that make it difficult for students to review for the exam.
In particular, regarding the time to announce early admission results, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong said it must be after the end of the program and school year plan, which is May 31 every year.
Regarding the high school graduation exam from 2025, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, the exam content closely follows the goals of the 2018 general education program. The exam questions are aimed at enhancing capacity assessment, in accordance with the regulations and roadmap for implementing the 2018 general education program.
Exam format: Literature is an essay test; the remaining subjects are multiple choice tests.
Exam subject selection: Each candidate takes 4 exams, including 2 compulsory subjects: literature and mathematics, and 2 subjects that candidates choose from the remaining subjects studied in grade 12 (foreign language, history, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, economic and legal education, information technology, agricultural technology, industrial technology).
Graduation recognition method: Combining the results of the process assessment and the graduation exam results in a ratio suitable to the roadmap for implementing the 2018 general education program.
