To meet market demand, OCOP product manufacturing facilities in Huong Son (Ha Tinh) are stepping up production to promptly meet orders and prepare enough output to serve the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Products of Huong Son Agricultural Joint Stock Company have achieved 3-4 star OCOP standards.
Since early December 2023, Huong Son Agricultural Joint Stock Company (Dai Vuong village, Son Phu commune) has accelerated production to meet Tet orders. The company's main products are: deer antler wine, powdered deer antler, fresh deer antler... very suitable for gifts and consumption at the end of the year.
The company has also changed designs to meet tastes, attract customers and hired 5 more seasonal workers (in addition to 5 regular workers) to increase production, package finished products, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
This year's Tet, the demand for products of Huong Son Agricultural Joint Stock Company increased by about 20 - 30% compared to normal days.
Mr. Tran Dinh Chien - Director of Huong Son Agricultural Joint Stock Company said: "After 4 products: powdered dried deer antlers, fresh deer antlers, sliced deer antlers and deer antlers wine achieved OCOP certification (3-4 stars), it helped the Chien Son deer antlers brand get closer to consumers.
Currently, many stores inside and outside the province import the company's products for consumption. At the end of the year like now, the demand for the company's products increases by about 20 - 30% compared to normal days. Currently, we have only processed nearly 30% of the number of orders."
Binh Son Food Processing Facility has geared up for the 2024 Tet production season.
Tet is an occasion to increase sales and revenue and also an opportunity to promote and market products, so Binh Son food processing facility (residential group 7, Pho Chau town) has proactively sourced raw materials, hired more seasonal workers and promoted products on media channels.
Ms. Le Thi Binh - owner of Binh Son food processing facility said: "The continued recognition of achieving 3-star OCOP in 2023 once again affirms the sustainable brand of our Ý Bình fermented pork roll product. Therefore, although it is 1.5 months until Tet, the facility has been "wound up" to prepare the source of goods. It is known that Binh Son Food Processing Facility has started accepting orders for the upcoming Lunar New Year. The facility will stop accepting orders at the end of the 11th lunar month to focus on production and order fulfillment. It is expected that with high demand, orders this year will increase by about 20% compared to the same period last year.
It is expected that the number of customers ordering at Cuong Nga Honey Cooperative will continue to increase rapidly during the time near Tet.
In addition to maintaining traditional customers, this year, Cuong Nga Honey Cooperative (Dong Tien village, Quang Diem commune) has promoted promotion on digital platforms, participated in trade fairs, connected with supermarkets and clean food stores to access the market.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong - Director of Cuong Nga Honey Cooperative shared: “In 2023, the Cooperative achieved a production of more than 20 tons, and at the same time supported the processing of honey for households and units inside and outside the district with over 200 tons. From this source of raw materials, the Cooperative has helped meet the needs of customers throughout the year, especially the upcoming Tet holiday.”
Thanks to proactively sourcing raw materials, actively approaching the market, and promoting products, although there are still 1.5 months left until the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, Cuong Nga Honey Cooperative has received orders for 1,200 bottles, equivalent to 600 liters. Customers are mainly in the province and the southern provinces. It is expected that this number will continue to increase rapidly in the coming time.
Huong Son OCOP products participate in the 6th Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival (November) to promote products and expand the market.
Currently, OCOP product manufacturing units in Huong Son district are rapidly increasing the application of information technology, promoting the development of e-commerce. To create momentum for the Tet market, OCOP products are continuously introduced on e-commerce platforms, websites and social networks such as Zalo, Tiktok, Facebook... Thanks to that, the products are increasingly known and chosen by many customers. Many stores in the area have also proactively imported OCOP products to distribute to customers. With the proactive spirit of the subjects, Huong Son's OCOP products are ready to serve the needs of the consumer market at the end of the year and Tet.
Mr. Tran Quang Hoa - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Huong Son district said: "Currently, the whole district has 50 OCOP products with 3-4 stars. In preparation for the 2024 Lunar New Year, OCOP establishments have focused on improving product quality, increasing production, hiring more seasonal workers... to ensure sufficient service for customer needs. The demand of customers during the Tet holiday is expected to increase, creating a positive effect on the development potential of Huong Son's OCOP products".
