Girl in critical condition after breast implants and jaw surgery

Ho Chi Minh City, a 26-year-old girl suddenly suffered a brain hemorrhage and was in a critical coma after undergoing surgery to place breast implants, shave the jaw angle, lower her cheekbones, and remove wisdom teeth at Van Hanh General Hospital.

On the afternoon of January 10, Dr. Le Nguyen Nhut Tin, Deputy Head of the Department of Neurology, Cho Ray Hospital, said that the girl was transferred to the emergency room in a state of needing a resuscitation balloon, respiratory support... Doctors consulted and determined that the patient had a severe brain hemorrhage, and was treated with a ventilator, vasopressors, and drugs to limit the spread of the lesion.

"After 24 hours in the hospital, the patient's condition still shows no signs of improvement, the prognosis is very serious," the doctor said.

Inspectors from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health went to Van Hanh General Hospital to seal medical records and investigate the incident.

A hospital representative said they are holding a meeting of the professional council to evaluate this case. It is currently unclear why the girl is in critical condition.
