WATCH CLIP :
On the morning of July 23, a 30-second clip recorded the image of a Hyundai Accent car driver with a Hanoi license plate intentionally knocking down a motorbike driver going in the same direction and then running away. This clip was shared widely on social networks.
The person who posted the clip shared that the incident happened on Phuc La street (Kien Hung ward, Ha Dong district), from Ha Dong district to Thanh Oai district, near Le Trong Tan intersection - the southern axis road of Hanoi.
According to the dash cam of the car behind, the incident happened at 10:05 a.m. on July 22. At that time, a motorbike driven by a man was traveling in the lane next to the median strip when a car with a Hanoi license plate drove up.
Because the motorbike was "blocking the road", the car driver had to brake and slow down. Then, the man on the motorbike gave way, the car passed 2/3 of the way and then swerved, causing the motorcyclist to fall onto the road.
It is worth mentioning that immediately after the accident, the car driver drove straight.
After the above image was posted, many drivers expressed their anger and protested the actions of the above driver.
Driver Thanh Tung said that the car driver's intentional act of causing an accident needs to be punished.
"In this situation, if the car driver behind is not focused and continues to hit the fallen motorcyclist, the consequences will be unpredictable," driver Thanh Tung indignantly shared.
Driver Tran Hung said that the car driver's actions showed disregard for other people's lives. In the event that the car driver did not intentionally hit the motorcyclist, he should have stopped the car and left the scene intact.
