The total budget contribution of the whole industry up to the end of July 2023 is estimated at VND 55,446 billion.

On August 4, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications held a workshop to disseminate the circular guiding Decree No. 71/2022 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 06/2016 on management, provision and use of radio and television services. Including the management of cultural products on cross-border platforms.

The Ministry of Information and Communications said that in the coming time, it will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to manage the distribution of cross-border cultural products. In particular, products containing content and images that violate Vietnam's sovereignty in any form are not accepted.

Fighting against cross-border social media platforms is a policy that has been implemented by the Ministry of Information and Communications for many years. "With negative content that is not yet popular and affects the community, we will research, evaluate and have a way to handle it if this is a trend of bad and toxic information," said the Deputy Director of the Department of Broadcasting and Electronic Information.

The Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information hopes that press agencies will detect, evaluate, condemn and warn about content on social networks that has a negative impact on users.

Regarding the results of the comprehensive inspection of Tiktok in Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information said that up to now, the conclusion is still being finalized, as well as supplementing related content. "When there is an official conclusion, official information will be provided to the press agencies," Ms. Huyen said .
