The good news for coach Vu Tien Thanh is that when returning to V-League 2023 - 2024 in round 9 (against Ha Tinh Club on February 18), HAGL will welcome striker Dinh Thanh Binh back after injury. Thanh Binh's return promises to help HAGL Club temporarily forget the thirst for "striker", thereby exploiting more the abilities of Quoc Viet and Jhon Cley, who are more used to playing wide than hunting in the penalty area. The 1-0 victory over Hanoi Club in round 8 was a strong dose of mental doping, helping HAGL regain confidence after the first victory of the season.
